How can I disable or change Email Notifications?

For all members of a wiki

As a member of a wiki, you have control over your email notifications if you pay attention when you are at the log in page.
When you log into a wiki, you will see 4 places to add info.
1. Password
2. Your name
3. Your email address
4. Notification check box

What to do about the Notifications?
A. You can use any email address to log in to the wiki.
B. If the box is checked; the email address you used will be notified of changes.
C. If the box is not checked; the address you used will not be notified.

You can turn the email notifications on or off for any email address if you keep A, B and C in mind whenever you log in. If you find yourself logged into the wiki automatically, just use the "log out" link to get back to the login screen so you can make Notification changes.

Let's say I have an email address "joe@myjoe.com" and I don't want to receive any more notifications there.
I'll log in with that address and uncheck the notification box.

If I do want to receive a notification at "jim@myjoe.com" then I will log in with that email address and make sure that the notification check box has a check mark in it.

For Administrators or Owners

The wiki administrator can also change notifications through the "Settings" link, at the top of the page. In "Settings" go to the "Notifications" page to check or uncheck "Send notifications to the user making the edit". You should also see a list of addresses that are signed up for change Notification emails. Click the "Stop notifications" button if you want to remove the address beside it.

You can stop the notifications for any person in the list.
In addition, if you use the bottom check box, you will make sure that people don't accidently sign up for Notifications when they are logging into your wiki.

You can enable or disable email notification for any wiki in your list. Just add or remove the checkmark next to that wiki. Keep in mind that the notifications will come to the email address that you use when you log into my.pbwiki.com.

You can also set how often you will receive notifications in the Preferences section.
